So yeah...haven't posted in a while. Get over it. :) For those who are completely out of the loop, I went back to school in May, and already have 10 credits, 3 A's and another 12 credits underway. (and hopefully another 4 A's) Yadda yadda yadda, tooting my own horn...ok...done)
Every day, I come home with amazing stories...some irritating, some emotional, some freakin' hilarious. I talk my poor hubby's ears off! I thought I'd write some down...share the joy.
So my least favorite class this semester is my Positive Psychology class, which is hillarious because, well, it's Positive Psychology. I can't put my finger on exactly why, but I know it has lots to do with the teacher. She's very nice, which confuses me even more. But yeah, we're a month into the semester, and even after some amazing coments (if I DO say so myself) by me, she still treats me like I'm this special, fragil soul that needs coddling. UGH! frustrating.
Ok so that wasn't very entertaining. Try this one:
My English class -- very enjoyable. I've been dusting off my old writing tools and learning cool new stuff! My teach is soft-spoken and very knowledable, but my fellow classmates--a different story. Talk about an adventure. Lemme introduce you to Daniel, the class nerd. If that was it, well let's just say that I'm a nerd too, and am happily married to a nerd. No this guy is a rude, arrogant nerd. So Wednesday I called him on it. He made an EXTREMELY rude comment to our teacher, and I snapped into "mom mode," and told him so, and also told him he should be ashamed of himself. ROFL! Later I couldn't stop giggling as I replayed the whole scene. I totally and insinctively shamed this kid like he was my own! LOLOL When did I get so old?
Then there was the time this 8'2" 300 pound dude barrelled into me at full speed. I woulda went flying accross the wall into the wall if it weren't for his unhuman-like reflexes. He grabbed me with both arms in an embrace that I just may need to talk to my bishop about, and my head whipped back and bounced off of his wonderfully squshy belly. It took a while for the walls stopped spinning, but then, as before, I couldn't stop giggling as I replayed that in my head.
Ok that's all for now, but oh-so-much more to come!
